ARPA-E held the second annual ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit February 28 - March 2, 2011 at the Gaylord Convention Center just outside Washington, D.C. The event, which united nearly 2,000 key players from all sectors of the nation’s energy innovation community to share ideas for developing and deploying the next generation of clean energy technologies, was co-organized by Clean Technology and Sustainable Industries Organization (CTSI). Program highlights included:

• Dynamic speakers and panelists.
• Transformational Energy Technology Showcase of the first ARPA-E award winners, finalists, and other innovative energy technologies. Over 200 technologies were exhibited.
• An informative pre-conference workshop, where participants were able to meet with ARPA-E Program Directors, understand agency priorities and submission requirements, and discuss future project opportunities.
