ARPA-E Government Partnership Advisor John D. Jennings

John D. Jennings is the Government Partnership Advisor at the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) where he helps prepare breakthrough energy technologies for transition to government partners, particularly the Department of Defense (DOD).

ARPA-E Program Director Dr. Joseph King

Dr. Joseph King currently serves as a Program Director at the Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E). His focus at ARPA-E includes oil and gas efficiencies, thermoelectric conversion, and next generation battery technology.

Dr. Isik C. Kizilyalli currently serves as a Program Director at the Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E). Kizilyalli’s focus at ARPA-E includes power electronics, wide bandgap semiconductors, electronic systems for hostile environments, electrification of transport (aviation, ships, automotive), subsurface instrumentation, novel drilling concepts, medium voltage DC distribution grids, and grid resiliency against EMP and space weather threats. 

Dr. Zara L’Heureux currently serves as an ARPA-E Fellow. Her interests include automation and systems scaling, robotics, carbon capture and utilization, and internal combustion engines.

Dr. Robert Ledoux currently serves as a Program Director at the Advanced Research Projects Agency—Energy. His areas of interest include the intersection of nuclear physics and non-proliferation, energy production, and transportation. 

Dr. Jack Lewnard currently serves as a Program Director at the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA‑E). His focus at ARPA-E is on methane production, distribution, and use.

Dr. Scott Litzelman currently serves as a Program Director at the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E). His focus at ARPA-E includes carbon capture and storage (CCS), energy storage, integration of renewables with the grid, fuel cells, and energy efficiency.

ARPA-E Assistant Director for External Coordination Peder Maarbjerg

Peder Maarbjerg currently serves as the Assistant Director for External Coordination at ARPA-E and is responsible for legislative and public policy outreach.

Dr. Michael Ohadi currently serves as a Program Director at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E). His focus includes heat/mass transfer enhancement and process intensification utilizing innovative designs, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
