Geoff Goode is the Deputy Chief Counsel in the Office of the Chief Counsel at ARPA-E.  Before joining ARPA-E, Goode was in private practice at a DC-area law firm where he focused on environmental law in the regulatory and litigation contexts. He also previously worked as a consultant supporting the Environmental Department of the United States Navy, Southwest Region in San Diego, CA. Goode also currently serves as an appointed volunteer Commissioner on the City of Alexandria’s Environmental Policy Commission.

Goode earned a B.S. degree in Environmental Science from the University of Notre Dame and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
