Malcolm Handley

Malcolm Handley ARPA-E

Malcolm Handley currently serves as a Technology-to-Market Advisor at the Advanced Research Projects Agency—Energy (ARPA-E), where he helps prepare innovative energy technologies for transition from the lab to the market.

Prior to joining ARPA-E, Handley served as managing partner at Strong Atomics, a venture capital fund focused on nuclear fusion startups. Before joining Strong Atomics, Handley worked as a software engineer at Asana and Google. He was the first employee at Asana, helping to build the team, culture, and infrastructure for one of the fastest-growing B2B SAAS companies. At Google, Handley served as a software engineer on Android.

Handley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Otago.
