Dr. Stephanie King currently serves as a Technology-to-Market Advisor at the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E.) Dr. King is an experienced business development professional, with 12+ years working in corporate and entrepreneurial environments.

Prior to ARPA-E, she was Senior Vice President of Business Development at Octarine Bio, a startup based in Copenhagen, and Vice President of Business Development at FabricNano, a startup based in London. She also held various leadership roles at Novozymes, including Head of Innovation for Future Fuels and Chemicals and Business Portfolio Unit Lead for Water and Waste. Dr. King’s industry experience includes biofuels, biochemicals, consumer health, water, carbon capture and utilization, and heterogeneous catalysis for production of ammonia, methanol, and syngas.

Dr. King holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Chemistry from Harvard University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rice University.
