Richard Wilson currently serves as a Technology-to-Market Advisor at the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) where he helps prepare innovative energy technologies for transition from the lab to the market.
Prior to ARPA-E, Wilson worked in a variety of roles at Constellation, most recently as a trader. There, he performed day-ahead scheduling of generation assets and bidding for ancillary services and physical power. He also managed the deal reviews of load servicing and structured products to hedge load obligations. Before joining Constellation, Wilson served as an electrical engineer at Honeywell Technology Solutions where he led a team of engineers that oversaw the development of wireless communications systems for the U.S. Navy.
Wilson earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He also holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park.
