2012 ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit

ARPA-E held the third annual ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit February 27-29, 2012 at the Gaylord Convention Center just outside Washington, DC. The Summit was designed to bring together key players from across the energy ecosystem--researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, corporate executives, and government officials--to share ideas for developing and deploying the next generation of energy technologies. Keynote speakers for the 2012 Summit included former President Bill Clinton, Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates, Xerox Corporation Chairman and CEO Ursula Burns, Massachusetts Institute of Technology President Susan Hockfield, FedEx Corporation Chairman, President and CEO Frederick Smith, and former Walmart CEO Lee Scott.
