Get the Most Out of Your Conference Experience

The 2018 ARPA-E Summit app is a great tool to enhance your Summit experience. The app will provide the most up-to-date agenda with real-time updates and notifications, as well as speaker biographies, panel descriptions, Showcase participant profiles, and more. For the 2018 Summit, a fold-out pocket guide will be available with a map of the Technology Showcase floor and at-a-glance agenda information, and all the important attendee and exhibitor details and networking tools will be on the app! All registered attendees are encouraged to download and use the app to stay in the know on Summit activities.

Use the Summit app to easily connect and network with other attendees, exhibitors, and partners; download contact information from the connections you make.

The Summit app allows you to:

• Create and maintain your public profile
• Request meetings with conference attendees
• Manage a personalized schedule of event sessions and meetings
• Send private in-app messages
• Receive important updates and announcements from the Summit Team
• Discover what's around you (restaurants, coffee shops, etc.)
• Continue networking after the event from the app or the companion website

Here are three of our favorite app features that will help you maximize your time at the Summit:

1. My Schedule: Use this feature to add agenda items to your own personalized schedule. From there, you can sort by time, export to your phone calendar, or email the agenda if you wish. 

2. Business Cards: This feature allows you to scan the QR code on any attendee’s badges to save their business card to continue networking later- saving you time in swapping information. Creating your digital business card is as easy as including your contact information on your App profile. You can also request and export business cards.

3. Meetings: Use this feature to schedule meetings with other attendees or groups of attendees. The app will automatically populate available times during receptions and events in the Tech Showcase area. It will also assign you an open table in the Showcase’s networking area so you will have a reserved space and time to meet. (Note: attendees using the app will have a small phone icon to the right of their name on the attendee list.)
