Secretary Granholm Invites Energy Innovators to ARPA-E Summit
WASHINGTON – The Department of Energy’s Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) will host its thirteenth annual ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit from March 22-24, 2023, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland.
The Summit brings together more than 2,000 experts from government, academia, and business to advance cutting-edge energy technologies.
“ARPA-E is our moonshot energy factory. They’re involved in mind-blowing projects, from developing new battery chemistries, to creating a type of wood that's even stronger than steel, to making fuel from seaweed,” said Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm in a new video promoting the Summit. “To anyone ready to help build our clean energy future—I hope you’ll join me at this year’s ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit.”
General Session speakers will include Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm, former Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz, ARPA-E Director Evelyn Wang, and Dr. Arun Majumdar, the inaugural Dean of Stanford University’s Doerr School of Sustainability.
Additional speakers will be announced over the coming weeks.
