Isha Korde is the Special Assistant to ARPA-E at the U.S. Department of Energy. Previously, Korde served as the Special Assistant to the White House Liaison at the Department of Energy. In that role, she worked on personnel management and coordination with the Office of Presidential Personnel at the White House.

Prior to her time at the Department of Energy, Korde’s passion for ecology led her to work with U.S. Fish and Wildlife on ecological restoration and conservation in the Florida Keys. She started her career as a Medical Assistant through the University of Washington and as a Case Management Liaison through Lane County Public Health during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. Korde is a proud queer Indian American daughter of immigrants and grew up in the rainy city of Sammamish, Washington.
