For many Summit attendees, ARPA-E Fast Pitches are a highlight that they make certain to attend. These rapid-fire presentations from ARPA-E’s innovation leaders give a window into high-impact technology focus areas that could pave the path forward for the future of energy technology.
Each Fast Pitch session features ARPA-E Program Directors and Fellows, who give rapid-fire presentations and previews of unconventional and “outside the box” ideas for the future of energy, allowing Summit attendees a chance to hear the latest in bold thinking—and identify experts they may want to connect with during the rest of the conference.
Program Directors are the driving force behind ARPA-E’s mission and are empowered to identify, define, and recommend the most impactful energy R&D to be funded by the agency. Fellows actively help shape the strategic direction and vision of an agency devoted exclusively to transformational energy technology research and development. Fellows undertake independent explorations of promising future research areas for the agency.
