
Kevin Thunell currently serves as the Procurement Director at the Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy. In that role, he leads ARPA-E’s Contracting Team and their acquisition and assistance award activities.

Mary Barnes currently serves as a Contracting Officer at the Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E). As a Contracting Officer, Barnes is responsible for awarding and administering financial assistance awards and contracts in accordance with federal laws and regulations. Prior to ARPA-E, Barnes served as a Contracting Officer at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Headquarters Procurement Services.

Nicole Clopton currently serves as a Lead Grants Management Specialist at the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E). Clopton performs cradle-to-grave administration of cooperative agreements as well as other financial assistance and acquisition awards. Prior to ARPA-E, Clopton served as a Federal Grants Contracts Manager at the Northern Virginia Regional Commission.

Carlo DiFranco currently serves as a Grants Management Specialist at the Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E).
Jennifer Fleming currently serves as a Grants Management Specialist at the Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E). Fleming performs full lifecycle administration of financial assistance awards. Prior to joining ARPA-E, Fleming served as a Financial Assistance Officer for the National Park Service – Northeast Region.
Kelly Harper currently serves as a Lead Grants Management Specialist at the Advanced Research Projects Agency - Energy (ARPA-E) where she performs full life cycle administration of cooperative agreements as well as other financial assistance and acquisition awards.

Heather Johnson currently serves as a Grants Management Specialist for the Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E).

Carol Maldonado currently serves as a Grants Management Specialist at the Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E).

Farwa Nawaz currently serves as a Grants Management Specialist at the Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E).

Lisa Persson currently serves as a Contract Specialist at the Advanced Research Projects Agency - Energy (ARPA-E) where she is responsible for full life-cycle management of contracts and financial assistance awards. Prior to ARPA-E, Ms. Persson served as a Contract Specialist within the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Headquarters Procurement Services providing procurement support to the DOE Loan Programs Office.
